How a Junk Removal Quote Works When You Send Us Photos
You send pictures, we give you an average, and then someone comes out and gives you the real number.

If you've never booked a junk removal job before, the quoting part can feel like a guessing game. How would anyone know what it takes without seeing it? The short version is that you send photos, we give you an average quote, and then someone comes out and gives you the real total. Here's each step, and how to make the first one count.
Step one: contact us with photos
Reach out by phone, by text, by email or through the quote form on our site. Send photos with your message. From those we can give you an average quote, a general idea of where your job lands before anyone rolls a truck. It's the fast way to find out if this is the right service for you at all.
Photos by text work fine. So do photos uploaded through the schedule a quote page or sent to info@snapperjunk.com. Use whichever one is easiest on your end.
What makes a useful photo
- A wide shot of the whole pile or room, taken from the doorway, so we can see how much there is
- Close shots of the big items: couches, appliances, workbenches, hot tubs
- Anything tucked behind or underneath that's easy to miss
- The path out: stairs, narrow doorways, gates, and how far the pile sits from the driveway
- A shot of what's staying, so we know what to leave alone
- Anything unusual, like paint cans, tires or electronics, which get handled differently
Light matters. Turn on the garage lights and open the shed door. A dark picture of a dark corner tells us nothing. And if you're not sure what's in a pile, send what you've got. A rough set of photos beats waiting until you've got it all sorted.
Step two: the on-site estimate
The photo quote is an average, because a camera can't weigh anything or climb a flight of stairs. So step two is a visit. Our team looks at the job in person, sees what's actually there, and gives you a total cost quote. That's the number that counts. You know it before anything gets lifted, and you can say yes or no.
This is also when you get to point at things. Walk the crew through and show what goes, what stays and what's off the table. A pile of boxes in the garage might include somebody's tools or a family photo album. The walkthrough is where that gets sorted, not after the truck is loaded.
What moves a quote up or down
Without naming any numbers, here's what shapes the total on any junk job. How much there is. What it's made of. How hard it is to get to. And what has to be taken apart on the way out. A couch in the front room is different from a couch on a second floor. A shed that has to be broken down is different from a pile on the lawn.
That's why a photo quote is an average and not a promise. Two piles that look identical from the doorway can come out different once someone is standing in front of them. The on-site estimate closes that gap.
Step three: enjoy a clean property
Once you agree on the total, the crew goes to work. Everything on the list is removed and disposed of correctly, on time. We work with local recycling centers and donate reusable items, so not everything you hand us ends up in a landfill. Then the space is yours again.
We treat every home and driveway as if it's our own. That means we're not leaving a mess behind, and if something's in the way on the way out, we deal with it before it becomes your problem.
What to have ready
Before you contact us, take ten minutes to walk the space and decide what's leaving. Know where the items are and how to reach them. If you're a landlord or property manager, mention the address and the unit number up front. If you're clearing a storage unit, tell us which one. If it's a business, say what hours work best.
Also set aside the things we can't take in a bin: hazardous waste, tires, batteries and liquids. Electronics are worth a call, since our residential service covers electronic waste. Just ask.
